Ingredients
- 1 (20-count) package of 6-inch flour tortillas
- 5 c shredded Havarti cheese
- 3 tbsp. plus 1 teaspoon chopped pecans
- cooking spray, as needed
- fig preserves, for serving
Instructions
- Set a large sauté pan over medium heat.
- To assemble, take one flour tortilla and top with ½ cup of the Havarti cheese and 1 teaspoon chopped pecans.
- Top with a second flour tortilla to seal the quesadilla. Spray both sides of the tortilla lightly with cooking spray and place in the sauté pan.
- Cook until the tortilla is lightly browned, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Flip over and continue to cook until both sides are lightly browned, and the cheese has melted.
- Remove the quesadilla from the pan and place on a cutting board. Cut the quesadilla into 6 pieces to serve. Continue making quesadillas with the remaining ingredients. Serve with fig preserves.
