Pomegranate Pistachio Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 French bread baguette, sliced ¼” thick
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp. orange juice
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 c pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 c finely chopped pistachios
  • 2 oz dark chocolate candy bar, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  2. Arrange the slices on an ungreased baking sheet.
  3. Brush the tops of the bread slices with melted butter. Bake until they are lightly toasted, approximately 4-6 minutes.
  4. Remove the bread slices from the pan to a wire rack and allow to cool.
  5. Whisk the cream cheese, orange juice and honey until blended.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over top of the toast points.
  7. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, pistachios and dark chocolate.
