Ingredients
- 4 c low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 c Quaker Old-Fashioned grits
- 1 c sharp cheddar cheese, hand-shredded
- 1/2 c Parmesan cheese, hand-shredded
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth to a full rolling boil.
- Whisk in grits and beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 20 more minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
- Stir in the cheeses and butter.
- Season to taste and serve immediately.
