Gnocchi al Romaine

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups whole milk
  • 1 ¼ ounces unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. white pepper
  • Nutmeg, to taste
  • ¾ cup semolina
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 2 oz Asiago cheese, shredded
  • Pam Spray
  • 10 (4-ounce) foil cups

Instructions

  1. Bring the first five ingredients to a simmer in a heavy bottom pot over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the semolina and reduce the heat. Cook the mixture until it dries out and make a pate choux.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the eggs, heavy cream, and cheese.
  4. Spray the foil cups heavily with spray and divide mixture into cups.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown on top.
